I am an international student at Yale-NUS College, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. I accomplished IB Diploma with a score of 42/45. I scored A in the extended essay and A in TOK Essay. My main research interests are in Economics and Global Studies. I have developed research paper on Exchange Rate and Textile Exports (International Economics) and UN Involvement in Kashmir Issue). I have tutored students writing about variety of topics from "Effectiveness of health policies in countries" to "Market structure of Steel industry" and many more.
Experience
I have been tutoring for the past year. I have tutored students from Hwa Chong Intl School, SOTA, Stanford School, Millennium College Intl. I am specialized in IB teaching and since I have myself done IB, I know of the IB requirements for the subjects I teach. Furthermore, I have a lot of specific study notes and resources which I use, so that student doesn't have to wander finding the best study materials on his own. My expertise in TOK I have tutored privately tutored over 10 students in their TOK Essays. I don't only review student essays but actually help them construct arguments, counter-arguments, choose real-life situations, and form knowledge questions. My expertise in Extended Essay I specialize in working with essays in social sciences particularly Economics and Global Studies. I review students' work and help students build structure of their essay, select literature for review, analyze data, identify findings, and most importantly fulfill the IB Subject-specific requirements for the essay. My expertise in Economics and Math These two are have been my favorite subjects in IB and so far. I tutor students in groups and in private for these subjects. Moreover, I don't only focus on learning concepts and theories, but I make sure that my student is able to use those concepts to solve his paper, construct his essay for economics and solve problems.

Hobbies
I love reading, writing, and swimming. In reading, my main interests are women empowerment, religion, politics, etc. I usually read non-fiction. In writing, I write mostly on topics that I am reading about. In specific, I write about humanitarian issues. My reading and writing habits have allowed me to explore wide range of topics and perspectives. This really helps me tutor students well in TOK and EE, as I can help them locate where they would find specific information they need for their work.
